B.A. in Liberal Arts & Sciences, University of Illinois (1968)
Norm Jaocbson is a Certified Business Analyst with the Florida Small Business Development Center affiliated with the Florida Gulf Coast university located in Fort Myers, Florida. He received his BA degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Illinois and is a Veteran of the United States Army.
Norm's experience includes thirty-year tenure with major, international corporations Signode Corp. (Illinois Tool Works) and Senco Products with varied General Manager, Director, Plant Manager, International, and Engineer positions. Recognition included Industry Week Magazine Award for operating one of "Ten Best Plants in North America" and Product Development Management Association corporation of the year award.
He also managed Center for Emerging Enterprises and simultaneously was Director, Small Business Development Center for Southwest Ohio Region (2001-2003). Counseled 200+ companies annually in business practices & performed training in the areas of business planning, e-Commerce, government contracting, and international trade.
Other information: current Mensa membership; previous Board Membership for two not-for-profit organizations in Ohio.
