SBDC Hosts Small Business Forum at FGCU

The Gulf Coast Small Business Forum was held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University. The program was sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, FDIC, Comptroller of Currency and FGCU/Small Business Development Center. This forum provided a venue to gain a better understanding of the wide range of factors influencing small business credit needs and how financial institutions working with small business technical providers and other local, state, and government programs can provide the needed financing. The event was opened to non-profit small business assistance providers, funders, financial institutions, and other practitioners who assist small businesses.
