Are You Lender Ready? SBA + SBDC Special Workshop

  • September 29, 2025

Securing capital is one of the biggest hurdles small businesses face and preparation is the difference between a door opening and it staying closed. That’s why the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), in partnership with the Florida SBDC at Florida Gulf Coast University, has launched the Are You Lender Ready? series, a program designed to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge, confidence, and connections they need to successfully approach lenders.

This series is more than a workshop, it’s a pathway to opportunity. By blending expert-led training, live lender engagement, and ongoing support, Are You Lender Ready? ensures that local and rural small businesses don’t just seek capital, but secure it with confidence.

Live Meet the Lenders Panel — Oct. 21

The series comes to life in LaBelle, where SBA and SBDC bring lenders face-to-face with small business borrowers. This in-person panel discussion is a rare opportunity to hear directly from banking and microloan representatives about what they look for in loan applications. Attendees not only gain practical guidance, but also connect with decision-makers who specialize in rural programs, agriculture, and small business finance.

Hear directly from banking and microloan representatives on what they look for in loan applications, and connect face-to-face with decision-makers who understand small business and agriculture lending. Entrepreneurs will obtain tools, resources, and insights to take their financing journey seriously and strategically

Location: LaBelle City Hall — 481 West Hickpochee Ave, LaBelle, FL. 33935
