Connecting Talent with Opportunity
The Student and Small Business Readiness Program pairs FGCU students with local small businesses based on their career goals and the business’ needs. The program is designed to facilitate micro-internships that will provide valuable experience for students and project support for businesses.
How it Works
- Small Businesses go to Eagle Career Network, create an account, and post their business under the Student and Small Business Readiness designation
- FGCU Students apply with their resumes for the program through the FGCU Career Development Services Office
- Based on the resumes and business projects submitted, the SBDC at FGCU and the Career Development Services office will pair students with projects.
- A meeting will be held to reveal the pairings and to facilitate conversations about the terms and lengths of the internships.
